Hi! We’re Jordan and Josie Hirschfeld—lifelong South Dakotans, founders of Stay in the Black Hills, and parents to four busy (and adorable) kids.
What started as a side hustle—renting out our own home to make a little extra income—quickly turned into something so much bigger. We didn’t just make money...we fell in love with the industry. The details, the guest experience, the care it takes to run a great short-term rental—it hooked us. And over the years, we’ve grown from weekend DIY hosts into seasoned professionals with a full-service team that keeps everything running smoothly.
